AAALAC International accreditation is a globally recognized benchmark for excellence in animal care and use programs. Accreditation is awarded through a voluntary, rigorous peer-review process evaluating institutional commitment to animal welfare, program quality, and operational standards.
Taconic was the first commercial laboratory animal provider to receive AAALAC accreditation in 1969 and has maintained continuous accreditation across its global operations since that time. The addition of the Seattle operation further reinforces the company's commitment to consistent, high-quality standards worldwide.
