Target-Specific Humanized Mouse Models Designed to Enhance Translational Relevance in Oncology Drug Discovery

Customers in the United States can now access selected genOway models through Taconic

Taconic provides researchers in the United States with access to a portfolio of genetically humanized mouse models developed by genOway

These models are among the most translational tools available for IO research: they were extensively validated by leading biopharma and CRO companies in IO and supported many IND fillings over the last years. Through a distribution agreement with genOway, Taconic now serves as a U.S. commercial point of contact for model access, quotations, ordering, and customer support.

These target-specific genetically humanized models represent selected human therapeutic targets, primarily within immunocompetent mice, to support mechanism-aligned preclinical research. The portfolio supports evaluation of therapeutics directed against human targets across:

  • T-cell engagers and T-cell-directed multispecifics
  • Immune checkpoint and immunomodulatory pathways
  • Fc-mediated biologics and antibody pharmacology
  • Innate and myeloid immuno-oncology
  • Additional humanized targets relevant to translational research

genOway’s humanized mouse models are designed to enhance translational relevance thanks to a physiological expression of the humanized target in an in vivo system. Supported by extensive validation data generated in-house and with biopharma partners, these models will help you generate robust  preclinical data with a high level of translatability to secure your decisions in the path to the clinic.

Depending on the model and study design, these models can support assessment of therapeutic activity, mechanism of action, pharmacodynamic/pharmacokinetic response, safety-related biology, and biologic disposition.
