Scientific Liaison
Dr. Matteo Oliverio is a scientific liaison based in Cologne (Germany) with a scientific background spanning from DNA damage response to molecular metabolism, from obesity to leukemia. After completing his Master of Science in Pavia (Italy) at the Institute of Molecular Genetics (IGM-CNR) he moved to Cologne to obtain a PhD in Genetics at the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research. He completed his postdoctoral research at the CECAD / University Hospital of Cologne. Before he arrived at Taconic in July 2022, Matteo worked as a scientific illustrator and designer. His work covered a broad range of scientific fields, including neurobiology and infectious disease. He collaborated with scientists to communicate their work simply and clearly to reach wider audiences and achieve their goals.
