Louise Baskin

Louise Baskin
Senior Director, New Product Pipeline

Louise Baskin has over 15 years experience in supporting drug discovery and the life sciences industry. She has led the development and commercial launch of groundbreaking products and software tools in the fields of RNA interference and CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing. At Taconic, she leads the introduction of new commercial models to market, with an emphasis on humanized and immunodeficient models that accelerate advancements in immuno-oncology. 

Philip Dube

Philip Dubé, PhD
Director, Global Applications Sciences

Philip Dubé, PhD is a Senior Scientist with expertise on mouse models for immunology, oncology, immuno-oncology. He earned his PhD from the University of Toronto and completed postdoctoral fellowships in inflammatory bowel disease research at Vanderbilt University and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. At Taconic, he leads a global team of scientists that work closely with researchers across academia and industry to achieve their project goals.

Jessica Ramadhin, PhD
Field Applications Scientist

Jessica Ramadhin, PhD, has nearly 10 years of in vivo experience and a background in immunology, metabolism, and the gut microbiome. Her expertise now spans a variety of therapeutic areas, ranging from immunology and metabolism to immuno-oncology, assisting both customers and internal stakeholders. At Taconic, she is a Field Applications Scientist.

 

Nicholas Smith

Nicholas Smith, PhD 
Manager, Flow Cytometry

Nicholas Smith, PhD obtained a BA in biology from the University of Vermont, and a PhD in immunology from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Nick performed postdoctoral research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and SUNY Upstate Medical University. His graduate and postdoctoral research utilized flow cytometry to model in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo herpesvirus infection to understand viral tropism and changes in cell surface marker expression during infection.
