The aging population has put emphasis on neurodegenerative disorder research. Taconic provides access to valuable models for Alzheimer's disease, ALS and other disorders, including many models available exclusively from Taconic and offered with full use licenses.
Taconic's portfolio of neurodegeneration models and services
Taconic introduces two new models for Alzheimer's research. The Samaritan Alzheimer's Rat Model is a surgically induced model of Alzheimer's with rapid onset and robust phenotype. The AD11 mouse model offers a robust and progress disease phenotype with an entirely new mechanism - NGF deficiency induced by expression of a neutralizing antibody. Both models are available exclusively from Taconic.
