"Hosted by the Rare Genomics Institute, the Rare Disease Science Challenge is an annual event in which industry sponsors donate services to accelerate rare disease research. This is the second year that Taconic has participated in this challenge. "We see this as an opportunity for Taconic to give back to the community that has allowed us to be successful. In the rare disease area, where funding is very limited, we have the opportunity to utilize our technology to help rare disease research move forward.
